Capacitor Troubleshooting

Here's an interesting article I found in the back of an old Sprague catalog while researching early Sprague printed circuits such as the 102C84 that is sometimes seen in Gibson guitar amps. That circuit consists of a wafer with three terminals. Pins one and three are a .0047 uf capacitor in parallel with two 220k ohm resistors. The junction between the two resistors is pin 2.

Now you know.
